About The Position

The Certified Medical Assistant supports cardiology care at Midtown Heart in Nashville, Tennessee. The role helps coordinate patient visits by preparing treatment environments and conducting initial screenings. It documents vital signs and patient care journeys, transcribes and processes orders for laboratory tests and imaging, and supports clinical operations by managing front-of-house communications and maintaining medical supplies. The schedule is full-time, days; candidates must be willing to work Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Requirements

• Obtain BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire or job transfer; American Heart Association or American Red Cross certification is accepted.
• Obtain Certified Medical Assistant certification within 120 days of hire or job transfer. Approved credentialing bodies include American Medical Technologists, National Healthcare Association, National Center for Competency Testing, National Association for Health Professionals, and American Association of Medical Assistants.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or one year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience. Required professional licensure or certification may substitute for education or experience where applicable.
• At least one year of Medical Assistant experience.
