About The Position
Baptist Health is hiring a full-time Certified Medical Assistant for its Baptist Primary Care–Nocatee office in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. The role performs back-office medical assistant duties, including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and assisting the provider.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of patient care experience.
- Experience in a physician's office.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Certified Medical Assistant certification.
Nice To Haves
- Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree.
Responsibilities
- Provides medical assistance to physicians.
- Obtains vital signs.
- Greets and chaperones patients during medical visits.
- Maintains medical documentation.
- Schedules care, treatment, and diagnostic tests per physician direction.
- Processes prescription requests and referrals.
