About The Position

Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Certified Medical Assistant. This role delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process. Key responsibilities include conducting patient check out, surgery scheduling, and post-operative calls as the primary function of the position. The Medical Assistant will communicate with patients regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by the physician, and ensure patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights. The role may involve working in the front office as needed and performing other duties as assigned by practice management or healthcare providers.

Requirements

High School Diploma (REQUIRED)
Valid Certification as a Medical Assistant (REQUIRED)
Successful completion of THPG Clinical Training (CT) educational program with demonstrated competency in required skills - within 90 days of job entry (REQUIRED)
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support Exception Quarterly - 90 days upon hire (REQUIRED)
No New CMAs for this Position!!!

Nice To Haves

One year of experience as a CMA (STRONGLY PREFERRED)
NCT - Non-certified Radiologic Technician training may be required upon hire (PREFERRED)
