About The Position

Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Certified Medical Assistant. This is a full-time position with 40 hours weekly, Monday - Thursday (7:30 am - 5:00 pm) and Fridays (7:30 am - 3:00 pm). The clinic offers bonus potential and great benefits. Requirements

  • High School Diploma (REQUIRED)
  • Valid Certification as a Medical Assistant (REQUIRED)
  • Successful completion of THPG Clinical Training (CT) educational program with demonstrated competency in required skills - within 90 days of job entry (REQUIRED)
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support Exception Quarterly - 90 days upon hire (REQUIRED)
  • No New CMAs for this Position!!!

Nice To Haves

  • One year of experience as a CMA (PREFERRED)
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire (PREFERRED)
  • NCT - Non-certified Radiologic Technician training may be required upon hire (PREFERRED)

Responsibilities

  • Delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process
  • Conducts patient check out, surgery scheduling and post operative calls as primary function of position
  • Communicates with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician
  • Provides for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights
  • May work in the front office as needed
  • May perform other duties as assigned by practice manager, more senior staff, or as requested by healthcare provider(s)
  • Delivery of high quality of patient care through nursing education, nursing research and innovations in nursing practice.
