About The Position
Aspire Rural Health System is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for its Millwood Street Primary department in Caro, Michigan. The position is full-time and day shift, with full benefits. The role supports providers and patients by performing patient-care and administrative tasks in a fast-paced primary care environment, serving patients of all ages while maintaining confidentiality. Requirements
- Previous experience working in a physician’s office.
- A positive attitude and the ability to engage patients warmly.
- Ability to work as a team player and solve problems.
- Ability to interact positively and proactively at all levels of the organization and with all physicians.
Nice To Haves
- CMA, CCMA, or RMA certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vital signs.
- Assist the provider as necessary.
- Use the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Register patients and verify insurance.
- Scan medical records.
- Phone patients with results.
- Complete proper medical documentation.
- Provide quality patient care to patients of all ages while maintaining patient confidentiality.
