Day to day as a Certified Medical Assistant As a new Certified Medical Assistant at Fox Valley Medical Associates, you can expect a dynamic and fulfilling daily routine centered around patient care and support. Your responsibilities will include preparing patients for examinations, assisting healthcare providers during procedures, and ensuring accurate documentation of medical histories. You'll also play a vital role in managing patient flow and addressing inquiries, which fosters a customer-centric atmosphere. Your typical schedule will be Monday to Friday, working 4-5 days per week, with occasional Saturday mornings as needed. This structure allows for a work-life balance while immersing yourself in a high-performance environment. Requirements

Valid Certified Medical Assistant certification
CPR certification
Proficiency in phlebotomy
Proficiency in specimen collection
Proficiency in EKG administration
Competence in medication administration, including oral, intramuscular, and subcutaneous routes
Strong patient scheduling skills
Strong appointment coordination skills
Insurance verification knowledge
Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR)
Excellent written communication skills
Excellent oral communication skills
Patient education and teaching skills
