About The Position
The Certified Medical Assistant assists nursing staff and providers with patient care and other duties to support the efficient operation of the clinic. The role works under the supervision of physicians and the Clinic Supervisor. Duties include returning phone calls, assisting physicians with examinations, and administering special procedures according to clinic policies.
Requirements
- Current licensure from the Board of Certified Medical Assistants.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.
