The CMA will also handle phone calls for medication providers and nursing staff, ensuring a high level of quality service. A key responsibility is entering and validating data in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and other systems, scheduling appointments, and processing medical records requests while maintaining HIPAA standards. The role requires timely submission of progress notes, billing information, and medical claim forms, as well as maintaining client confidentiality. The CMA will also assist with discharging clients and ensuring the proper utilization of supplies and resources.
