About The Position

Ascension St. Vincent's Health Center Town Center in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Full-Time Certified Medical Assistant. In this role, you will prepare patients for examination and assist the physician with medical procedures and treatments. You will accurately record patient vital signs, medical histories, and other information in patient charts. Additionally, you will manage clinical logistics, including preparing treatment rooms and maintaining supplies and equipment. Essential clerical duties such as answering phones, filing, and maintaining patient records are also part of this position.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Medical Assistant obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education OR experience, if applicable.
