Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Current BLS-CPR Certification from the American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross
Current recognized National Certification as a Medical Assistant from one of the following: NCCT, NAHP, AMT, AAMA, AMCA, or NHA

Responsibilities

Room patients, obtain vital signs, collect health information, and prepare patients for evaluation and treatment.
Support providers with patient care needs, including clinical procedures, treatments, medications, and diagnostic testing within scope of practice.
Assist with drug screens and occupational health services.
Manage patient flow and support efficient clinic operations in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
Provide excellent customer service while assisting with clinical documentation, follow-up tasks, and care coordination.
