Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Current BLS-CPR Certification from the American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
- Current recognized National Certification as a Medical Assistant from one of the following: NCCT, NAHP, AMT, AAMA, AMCA, or NHA.
Responsibilities
- Room patients, obtain vital signs, collect relevant health information, and prepare patients for evaluation and treatment.
- Support providers with patient care needs, including clinical procedures, treatments, and diagnostic testing within scope of practice.
- Manage patient flow and help maintain an efficient clinic environment while prioritizing quality patient care.
- Assist with clinical documentation, care coordination, and follow-up tasks to support continuity of care.
- Promote a positive patient experience by providing excellent customer service and supporting timely access to care.
