Certified Medical Assistant Primary Care Hickory Hills
About The Position
Loyola is seeking a team-oriented, patient-centered Certified Medical Assistant for its Primary Care clinic in Hickory Hills. This is a part-time position of approximately one 8-hour shift per pay period. The clinic is open Monday and Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The position does not require weekend or holiday work. The Medical Assistant provides direct patient care, handles patient registration and appointment scheduling, and performs office-related tasks. At least one credential from AAMA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA must be obtained within six months of hire. The role requires authorization to work for any U.S. employer; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- BLS CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, or one year of Medical Assistant work experience in place of program completion.
- Obtain at least one Medical Assistant credential within six months of hire from AAMA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA.
- Be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is unavailable.
