About The Position

The Certified Medical Assistant reports to the Outpatient Clinic Manager. Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Certified Medical Assistant performs multi-skilled activities to support a decentralized patient-centered approach to patient care and achieve desired outcomes. This position requires reliable transportation for traveling throughout the Beaufort/Bluffton area. This role is ideal for adaptable, patient-focused professionals who thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy learning different specialties while making a meaningful impact on patient care. As a CMA Clinic Float, you’ll gain exposure to diverse clinic settings, expand your clinical skill set, and build strong relationships across care teams, while helping ensure consistent, high-quality patient care throughout our organization.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited medical assisting program.
  • One year of patient care experience preferred.
  • American Medical Technologists (AMT) certification OR American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) certification OR National Health career Association (NHA) MedCA as a Certified Clinical & Administrative Medical Assistant (MA1) OR National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP) certification OR National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) certification.
