About The Position

Grace Health is searching for Certified Medical Assistants to work in their Student Health Center. This role involves floating between Springfield Middle School and Northwestern Performing Arts Academy. The hours are Monday through Friday, 7:15 AM to 3:45 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited medical assisting program and state certification (CMA, CCMA or RMA)
• Current BCLS certification

• Experience in pediatric primary care

Responsibilities

• Obtains accurate patient data
• Documents in the medical record
• Prepares exam rooms and procedure rooms
• Assists provider during exams and procedures
• Administers medications, per written order
• Provides educational materials to patient/family
• Provides explanation of lab results, diagnostic testing results and provider orders to patient/family
• Assists with cleaning and stocking of exam rooms and suites
• Performs CLIA waived testing
• General office duties, as assigned
