About The Position

This role involves supporting physicians in a clinic setting by obtaining vital signs, assisting with patient examinations, performing routine office tests, administering medications, and managing patient communications such as prescription refills and inquiries. Requirements

• Certified Medical Assistant -- Certification is required
• LPN- IL LPN License

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs and other preliminary information prior to the patient examination.
• Assist the physician with the examination.
• Perform routine office testing as ordered.
• Prepare and administer medications in injectable, aerosol, and other forms.
• Document appropriately.
• Receive, process, and respond to mail, prescription refills, and other inquiries promptly.
• Other duties as assigned.
