About The Position

Provides nursing assistance and patient care to provide for the comfort, safety and personal needs of patients. Assists physicians/physician assistants/nurse practitioners in a medical office setting. Performs a variety of patient care duties within the construct of a multidisciplinary patient care team as delegated by physician.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a practical or vocational nursing program and High school or Equivalent (for LPN Candidates)
  • Current, valid Arizona LPN license or compact state LPN/LVN license (for LPN Candidates)
  • American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification (for LPN and MA Candidates)
  • High School or Equivalent (for MA Candidates)
  • DPS Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (for MA Candidates)
  • Has attended a medical assistant training program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs or The Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (for MA Candidates)
  • Has a Medical Assistant Certification issued by National Healthcareer Association (CCMA), American Medical Technologists (RMA), American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA), American Medical Certification Association (CMAC) (for MA Candidates)
  • Has completed a medical services training program of the Armed Forces of the United States (for MA Candidates)
