About The Position
Princeton Medical Group is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant to join their Oncology team. This full-time opportunity is in a fast-paced Oncology practice where you will provide exceptional care to patients with oncology conditions. As part of a respected multi-specialty medical group with more than 30 physicians, you will work alongside experienced oncologists and advanced practice providers in a collaborative environment dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care. Princeton Medical Group, P.A. is a privately owned medical practice with over 30 providers and 8 medical specialties, approaching its 80th anniversary in 2027. They are committed to delivering excellent medical care with compassion, prioritizing people over profit. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered for this position.
Requirements
- Valid Medical Assistant Certification/Credential
- Ability to cover in the absence of other Medical Assistants as determined by supervisor
- Must have recent experience in a medical office setting
- Must have the ability to multitask and maintain a high level of client care
- Excellent communication & organization skills
- Detail-oriented and Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a related medical field
- Previous experience working in an Oncology practice is preferred
Responsibilities
- Escort patients to exam rooms and take vitals.
- Prepare patient chart with appropriate documentation and assists in maintenance of all logs
- Schedule lab tests and triage patient calls
- Schedule consultations
- Coordinate with the Infusion Department
- Assist physician with various procedures & exams
- Maintain safe, secure, healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures
- Prepare and stock exam rooms in the clinical area for patient care
- Ability & willingness to provide relief in any of our local offices as determined by supervisor
