About The Position
Princeton Medical Group is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant to join their Oncology team. This is a full-time opportunity in a fast-paced Oncology practice where the selected candidate will provide exceptional care to patients with oncology conditions. The role is within a respected multi-specialty medical group with over 30 physicians, offering a collaborative environment with experienced oncologists and advanced practice providers dedicated to high-quality patient care. Princeton Medical Group is a privately owned medical practice, not a hospital system, and has been established for nearly 80 years, prioritizing excellent medical care with compassion and people over profit. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered for this position.
Requirements
- Valid Medical Assistant Certification/Credential.
- Ability to cover in the absence of other Medical Assistants as determined by supervisor.
- Must have recent experience in a medical office setting.
- Must have the ability to multitask and maintain a high level of client care.
- Excellent communication & organization skills.
- Detail-oriented and Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a related medical field.
- Previous experience working in an Oncology practice.
Responsibilities
- Escort patients to exam rooms and take vitals.
- Prepare patient chart with appropriate documentation and assists in maintenance of all logs.
- Schedule lab tests and triage patient calls.
- Schedule consultations.
- Coordinate with the Infusion Department.
- Assist physician with various procedures & exams.
- Maintain safe, secure, healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures.
- Prepare and stock exam rooms in the clinical area for patient care.
- Ability & willingness to provide relief in any of our local offices as determined by supervisor.
