About The Position
Princeton Medical Group is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant to join their Cardiology team. This role offers a full-time or part-time opportunity in a fast-paced cardiology practice. The successful candidate will provide exceptional care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, working alongside experienced cardiologists and advanced practice providers in a collaborative environment. Princeton Medical Group is a respected, privately owned multi-specialty medical group with over 30 physicians and 8 medical specialties, known for its long-standing commitment to delivering excellent medical care with compassion.
Requirements
- Valid Medical Assistant Certification/Credential (For Medical Assistant)
- 1 year of experience as Medical Assistant in a related medical field (Preferred)
- Previous experience working in a Cardiology practice preferred.
- Must have the ability to multitask and maintain a high level of client care
- Excellent communication & organization skills
- Detail-oriented and Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of experience as Medical Assistant in a related medical field
- Previous experience working in a Cardiology practice
Responsibilities
- Escorts patients to exam rooms and take vitals.
- Prepare patient chart with appropriate documentation and assists in maintenance of all logs
- Schedule lab tests and Triage patient calls.
- Assist physician with various procedures & exams
- Administer EKGs
- Assist with Stress Tests
- Maintains safe, secure, healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures
- Prepares and stock exam rooms in the clinical area for patient care
- Ability & willingness to provide relief in any of our local offices as determined by supervisor
- Responsibilities vary by practice and specialty
