About The Position

The Medical Assistant NCT works under the general direction of the physician. This role will provide health care to individuals and families as instructed by the physician, perform routine clinical procedures as directed by the physician, participate in patient education, and enter appropriate documentation into patients’ health record. The Medical Assistant NCT is required to report during inclement weather status. The purpose of this role is to provide healthcare services to patients under the instruction of the Physician or APPs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
• National/Registered Medical Assistant Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, American Heart Association
• NCT permit through the Texas Medical Board
• 1-3 years of professional Medical Assistant experience
