About The Position

Tri-Cities Community Health (TCCH) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) founded in 1981 to provide quality, accessible healthcare to migrant and farm workers. With six clinical sites serving Pasco, Kennewick, Richland, and surrounding areas, TCCH offers comprehensive primary care services, including dental, optometry, pharmacy, behavioral health, and endocrinology. They also connect patients to social services and ensure medication access. TCCH is seeking passionate Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) to join their Care Team at the Pasco Primary Care and Pharmacy site. CMAs are vital to patient care, supporting medical and nursing teams and ensuring safe, precise patient care.

Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED
  • Current Certified Medical Assistant license from the State of Washington required
  • Must have or obtain current CPR certification within three (3) months of hire

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum one (1) year of experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the skills and judgment necessary to provide direct and non-direct care to patients under the direct supervision of licensed personnel
  • Maintain up-to-date certification and medical knowledge
  • Efficiently operate Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
  • Attend all required safety training programs and describe responsibilities related to general safety, department/service safety, and specific job-related hazards
  • Follow the organization’s exposure control plans and bloodborne and airborne pathogens protocol
  • Upkeep departmental supplies and inventory
  • Demonstrate respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors, and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible, and courteous environment
  • Work on a team toward surpassing departmental goals and objectives across multiple departments and facilities
  • Assumes all other duties and responsibilities as assigned and authorized by RCW 18.360 and WAC 246-827
  • Carry out all other duties as assigned
