This position is part of a regional float pool, requiring team members to be trained to work in any clinic location within the Tappahannock region. Depending on staffing needs, PTO coverage, or high clinic volumes, assignments may be in family medicine, pediatrics, or specialty clinics. While scheduling considers the float's residence, they must be willing to work anywhere from Callao to King William. Schedules are provided approximately two weeks in advance, offering high flexibility. Assignments may change on the day of if a greater need arises, and mid-day clinic changes may be requested when reasonable. The Certified Medical Assistant provides direct, age-specific care to patients based on medical orders and the plan of care, under the physician's direction.
