About The Position

The Clinical Manager works closely with the CMA Leads and CNO to coordinate and implement new and on-going education and training of all Clinical Staff. In addition, will perform evaluations, supervise daily activities, and manage time and attendance of clinical assistant staff.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • CPR certified
  • Successful completion of a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required
  • Training verification as a MA required
  • Successful completion of testing required
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to follow established procedures and maintain high level of organization
  • Ability to orient other clinical staff members
  • Ability to relate to persons of various economic levels and cultures and provide excellent communication.
  • Ability to remain relaxed and calm under stressful situations
  • Ability to speak and write fluently in English; Spanish desirable
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively
  • Ability to have crucial conversations with staff and peers to ensure team members are held accountable and to ensure clear communication across the organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Two (2) years of successful experience in a clinical setting preferred

Responsibilities

  • Works closely with CMA Leads and to ensure consistent, comprehensive orientation experiences with all Clinical Staff
  • Responsible for Orientation of all C.M.A.’s, C.N.A.’s as defined by the following: o Coordination of Education Onboarding schedule o Directly provide E.H.R. training and direct CMA lead to provide direct training o Directly provide basic clinical procedures; rooming, intake, check-out, CLIA testing, etc. o Ensures Clinical Competency list is completed prior to 90-day Evaluation
  • Ongoing training for existing staff in conjunction with EHR upgrades and workflow changes
  • Performs Office duties under C.M.A. scope of practice as needed
  • Daily huddle with all areas of main clinic and at Elements as needed
  • Performs all performance evaluations in coordination with CNO
  • Performs all other duties as assigned
  • Completes time and attendance tracking
  • Counsels staff with corrective action process in coordination with CNO
  • Assists in monitoring patient flow and clinic process efficiency
