About The Position
Country Club Rehab & Healthcare is seeking a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join its clinical team and help maintain a high level of resident care. The role provides personalized support to seniors, promotes resident engagement, and helps create a safe environment. Medication administration and related documentation are performed under the supervision of an RN and/or LPN. The position is per diem and offers flexible scheduling and competitive pay.
Requirements
- Current Missouri Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care to support residents with activities of daily living.
- Encourage residents to socialize and engage with one another.
- Create a safe environment for residents.
- Administer prescribed medications and/or assist residents with self-administration, and maintain related medical records under RN and/or LPN supervision.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and compliant medical records and written documentation in accordance with applicable federal and state regulations, certification standards, and legal and ethical standards.
- Transport assigned residents to and from dining areas.
- Feed or assist residents as needed.
- Make frequent rounds and check on residents.
- Supervise nurse’s aides and ensure they assist and care for residents appropriately.
- Assist CNA staff with direct resident care when necessary.
- Follow up to ensure identified problems are corrected.
