About The Position
Country Club Rehab & Healthcare is seeking a Certified Medical Technician (CMT) to join its clinical team and help maintain a high level of resident care. The role supports seniors with activities of daily living, medication administration, and resident safety and engagement. The CMT maintains accurate medical records and documentation, assists residents during meals and transportation, checks on residents regularly, and supports and supervises nurse’s aides. The position is located in Blue Springs, Missouri, and offers a flexible schedule and same-day pay.
Requirements
- Must have a current Missouri Certified Med Tech (CMT) certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care to support residents with activities of daily living.
- Encourage residents to socialize and engage with one another.
- Create a safe environment for residents.
- Administer prescribed medications and/or assist residents with self-administration, maintaining related medical records under RN and/or LPN supervision.
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records and written documentation in compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
- Transport assigned residents to and from dining areas.
- Feed or assist residents as needed.
- Make frequent rounds and check on residents.
- Supervise nurse’s aides and ensure they assist and care for residents appropriately.
- Assist CNA staff with direct resident care when necessary.
- Follow up to ensure identified problems are corrected.
