About The Position

The Certified Med Tech assists residents with daily living activities while maintaining their dignity and independence. The role administers prescribed medications safely and accurately across multiple forms, follows a strict three-step verification process to confirm the resident, medication, and dosage or timing, and ensures medication labeling compliance to help prevent errors. Attention to detail and adherence to protocols are important. Availability every other weekend and holidays is required.

Requirements

• Completion of a recognized Medication Administration course.
• One year of experience or training working with older adults or in the retirement housing industry.
