About The Position

Wilshire at Lakewood Care Center is seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to provide high-quality care to residents in Lee's Summit, Missouri. The CMT administers and assists with medications, monitors medical records, promotes resident safety and well-being, and provides direct care when needed. The role also supports a positive, respectful environment for residents and staff and includes supervising and supporting CNA staff. The position is described as full-time, with a weekend shift.

Requirements

• Current Missouri Certified Medication Technician (CMT) license.
• Passion for elder care and a team-focused mindset.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and assist residents with self-administration of prescribed medications under RN/LPN supervision.
• Monitor, document, and maintain accurate medical records in accordance with regulations.
• Promote resident safety and well-being in all aspects of care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Encourage social engagement and foster a positive community environment.
• Supervise and support CNA staff and provide direct care when needed.
• Transport residents to meals and activities and assist with feeding when required.
• Conduct regular resident rounds and follow up on care needs.
