About The Position

Skillforce is hiring Certified Lull Operators for ongoing project work at commercial construction sites in Sandston, Virginia. The role involves safely lifting, moving, and placing materials across active jobsites, supporting crews, and keeping equipment inspected and in good working order. Pay is $22 to $24 per hour based on experience and skillset, with weekly W-2 pay. This is a day-shift role with shifts of 8 or 10 hours, depending on the site.

Requirements

Hold a valid Lull certification.
Have at least 2 years of experience operating a Lull on commercial construction sites.
Have a strong understanding of jobsite safety protocols and equipment operation.
Have reliable transportation to and from the jobsite.
Be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Be authorized to work in the United States.

At least 3 years of experience operating a Lull on commercial construction sites.

Responsibilities

Safely operate Lull extended-reach forklifts to lift, move, and position materials where needed on site.
Complete pre-operational checks and equipment inspections before every shift.
Follow site safety protocols and regulations to protect yourself and nearby crew members.
Assist with loading and unloading incoming material deliveries.
Work with crew members to keep tasks moving and on schedule.
Maintain accurate equipment-usage records and report maintenance or repair needs.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning to keep equipment running efficiently.
