We are hiring an experienced EE98J Journeyman Electrician for commercial solar and large-scale electrical projects. The company has been in business for 17 years and is undergoing rapid expansion. We are looking for skilled electricians who take pride in their work, know how to get the job done right, and want the opportunity to grow with a company that has a proven track record. Solar experience is a plus but not required; we are willing to train the right commercial electrician who is motivated to learn and grow.

Requirements

Current EE98J Journeyman Electrician license
Commercial or industrial electrical experience
Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
Ability to read electrical plans and schematics
Strong commitment to safety and quality
Dependable attendance and work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

Commercial solar experience
Solar PV installation experience
Experience with commercial-scale electrical systems
Experience working on large construction projects

Responsibilities

Installing electrical systems for commercial solar projects
Installing and connecting electrical equipment and components
Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical systems
Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, plans, and specifications
Performing commercial and industrial electrical installations
Working with solar-related electrical equipment and systems
Ensuring installations meet applicable electrical codes and project requirements
Maintaining a safe, organized, and professional job site
Working with foremen, project managers, and other members of the electrical team
Identifying problems in the field and developing practical solutions
Maintaining high standards for workmanship, safety, and quality
