About The Position
The Certified Hyperbaric Technologist/Safety Director is responsible for overseeing hyperbaric treatments, ensuring all safety policies and procedures are followed. This role involves the development, coordination, and implementation of safety and regulatory standards to create a safe environment for patient care within the hyperbaric program. The position serves as a primary resource for staff regarding the safety, maintenance, and system compliance of the hyperbaric program. Key responsibilities include ensuring the quality of patient hyperbaric treatments, staff training and competencies, and adherence to standards of care and safety. The role requires maintaining patient and environmental safety at all times. Candidates must also complete and pass required medical screening, background checks, and drug tests.
Requirements
- Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT) certification.
- Experience as a Safety Director in a hyperbaric setting.
- Knowledge of NFPA99 standards.
- Ability to complete and pass required medical screening.
- Ability to complete and pass background checking.
- Ability to complete and pass drug test.
