About The Position

Qualicare Home Care is seeking compassionate Certified Home Health Aides to support clients in Monroe and surrounding locations. Care Aides help clients feel safe and supported in their own homes by following personalized care plans under the guidance of a local Care Coordinator. The role offers flexible shift options ranging from 4 to 12 hours, tailored to the caregiver’s availability, and consistent, long-term client assignments.

Requirements

• Active certification as a Home Health Aide, or prior experience as a caregiver; certification is described as a plus.
• CPR/First Aid AED certification, or willingness to obtain it.
• TB test or chest X-ray.
• Physical Clearance Certificate.
• Ability to travel locally within Princeton and nearby areas.
• Comfort using a smartphone for scheduling and care documentation; support is available if needed.
• Understanding of basic nutrition, hygiene, and caregiving standards.
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient nature.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience as a home health aide or caregiver is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide health care services in clients’ residences.
• Assist clients with personal care, including hygiene and grooming.
• Support client mobility and assist with physical therapies and exercises.
• Perform domestic and household tasks, such as light cleaning and meal preparation.
• Offer companionship and basic emotional or psychological support.
• Maintain accurate care documentation and follow personalized care plans.
