About The Position

Assisting Hands of Burlington is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aides to provide in-home care and support to clients in the Mount Laurel, New Jersey area. The role supports seniors and individuals with disabilities in living safely and comfortably in their own homes, while treating each person with dignity and respect. Scheduling is flexible across weekends and weekdays, with shifts available in the mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnights. Part-time and full-time schedules are available. Requirements

An active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license is required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a patient, empathetic demeanor.
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes in the Mount Laurel, New Jersey area.
Driver’s license, state ID, or passport.
Recent physical examination within the past 12 months.
TB immunization (PPD or QuantiFERON).
Proof of MMR (Measles, Mumps, and Rubella) vaccination.
Valid Social Security Number (SSN).

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in home health, personal care, or a related caregiving role.
CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support.
Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to promote safety and comfort.
Monitor and document clients’ health status and report changes to supervising staff.
Assist with meal preparation and feeding, and help ensure proper nutrition.
Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe home environment.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
Provide medication reminders and follow individualized care plans.
