About The Position

Assisting Hands of Burlington is hiring compassionate, dedicated Certified Home Health Aides to provide in-home care to clients in the Mount Laurel, New Jersey area. The role supports seniors and individuals with disabilities in living safely and comfortably in their own homes. Schedules are flexible and available across weekdays and weekends, with morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight shifts; part-time and full-time arrangements are available. Requirements

Hold an active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license.
Have reliable transportation and the ability to travel to client homes in the Mount Laurel, New Jersey area.
Provide a driver’s license, state ID, or passport.
Have a recent physical examination completed within the past 12 months.
Provide TB immunization documentation (PPD or QuantiFERON).
Provide proof of MMR (Measles, Mumps, and Rubella) vaccination.
Have a valid Social Security Number (SSN).

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in home health, personal care, or a related caregiving role.
CPR/First Aid certification.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient and empathetic demeanor.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support.
Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to support safety and comfort.
Monitor and document clients’ health status and report changes to supervising staff.
Assist with meal preparation and feeding, and support proper nutrition.
Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe home environment.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
Give medication reminders and follow individualized care plans.
