We are now hiring a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our compassionate team! Requirements
- Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and other personal care needs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships and work effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and the healthcare team.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology, infection control and safe caregiving practices.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working in home health, hospice, or a similar caregiving environment.
- Familiarity with KanTime Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
- Experience providing care for patients with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory related conditions.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, personalized care to patients in the comfort of their homes.
- Assisting with activities of daily living, such as personal hygiene, dressing, meal preparation and light housekeeping.
- Provide companionship and emotional support while helping to ensure each patient’s comfort, safety, and well-being.
- Play a vital part in preserving each patient’s dignity, independence, and quality of life.
- Working closely with patients, their families, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary care team, you will help deliver person-centered care that supports each individual’s unique needs and goals.
