About The Position

We are now hiring a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our compassionate team! As a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA), you will provide compassionate, personalized care to patients in the comfort of their homes. Your responsibilities will include assisting with activities of daily living, such as personal hygiene, dressing, meal preparation and light housekeeping. You will also provide companionship and emotional support while helping to ensure each patient’s comfort, safety, and well-being. In this role, you will play a vital part in preserving each patient’s dignity, independence, and quality of life. Working closely with patients, their families, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary care team, you will help deliver person-centered care that supports each individual’s unique needs and goals.

Requirements

  • Current Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and other personal care needs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships and work effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and the healthcare team.
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology, infection control and safe caregiving practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working in home health, hospice, or a similar caregiving environment.
  • Familiarity with KanTime Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Experience providing care for patients with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, or other memory related conditions.
