About The Position
Assisted Hospice is looking for a per diem Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) for our Los Angeles/ Culver City branch. We have about 10-15 visits per week available. We just increased our visit rates for CHHA to $29 per visit + $11 for mileage. Assisted offers great and rewarding career opportunities making a difference in the lives of people. Requirements
- Home Health Aide Certification through the California Department of Public Health.
- Completion of an approved training program pursuant to Federal/State law.
- Current, active California CHHA certificate with criminal background check.
- Current CPR, health clearance and completed skills assessment.
Responsibilities
- Assist patient with personal hygiene, elimination, / nutritional support, ambulation and exercise according to the patient’s needs and as specified on the CHHA Assignment.
- Ensure quality and safe delivery of CHHA services per written plan of care.
- Communicate with RN, Rehab Case Manager or Clinical Supervisor on a regular basis regarding changes in the patient’s condition and/or needs.
