About The Position

The Certified Assisted Living Associate (HHA) provides care and support to Assisted Living and Assisted Living Memory Care residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and safety. The role includes direct patient care, emotional support, and collaboration with healthcare professionals to maintain a positive environment for residents.

The position is located at White Oak Health Campus in Monticello, Indiana.

Requirements

• Indiana Home Health Aide Certification (HHA) is required.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
• 0–1 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Assisted Living residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Assist residents with medication reminders and help ensure they follow prescribed healthcare plans.
• Monitor and document vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature, as directed by supervising nursing staff.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, promoting a positive and nurturing environment.
• Assist residents during mealtimes, including serving food, feeding when necessary, and ensuring dietary needs are met.
• Help residents with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in residents’ rooms and common areas.
• Comply with facility policies, state regulations, and safety guidelines.
