Requirements

• Current New Jersey CHHA license required
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Ability to lift and support up to 75 lbs for resident transfers and mobility assistance

Nice To Haves

• Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP)
• Previous experience in memory care, assisted living, or senior care

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration
• Monitor basic health status and report changes to the Community Director
• Offer companionship, emotional support, and reassurance to residents
• Lead or assist with engaging activities and social interactions
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a safe, comfortable home
• Safely assist with resident transfers and mobility as needed
• Support a safe, nurturing environment that meets residents' physical and emotional needs
