About The Position

Doctors of Physical Therapy (DPT) is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT), Occupational Therapist (OT), or Physical Therapist (PT) to provide patient care at its West Lansing and Lansing outpatient clinics. Clinicians who have not yet earned the CHT credential are welcome to pursue certification with mentorship and professional support. Founded in 2005 by a physical therapist, DPT focuses on evidence-based, patient-centered care to help patients achieve faster recovery and lasting results.

Requirements

Must be a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT), Occupational Therapist (OT), or Physical Therapist (PT), or be a motivated clinician interested in pursuing CHT certification.

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals.
Deliver evidence-based therapy interventions to improve function, mobility, and quality of life.
Design and implement treatment programs promoting strength, flexibility, coordination, balance, and wellness.
Educate patients about injury prevention, self-management strategies, and healthy lifestyle habits.
Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and communicate outcomes.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Motivate and support patients during rehabilitation.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
Help patients reduce reliance on medication and explore conservative treatment options when appropriate.
