About The Position
Vancouver Clinic is seeking an on-call Certified Genetic Counselor (CGC) to join their Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) Department. This role involves working closely with a board-certified MFM/genetics physician to provide comprehensive prenatal genetic counseling services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of prenatal genetics and a commitment to patient-centered counseling. The position is per-diem/as needed, with no guaranteed minimum shifts, hours, or compensation. The clinic is physician-owned, emphasizing high-quality patient care and work-life balance, and is located in Southwest Washington.
Requirements
- Active Washington state license
- Current CGC certification
- Experience and/or training in prenatal genetic counseling
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive prenatal genetic counseling services.
- Work closely with a board-certified MFM/genetics physician.
- Manage approximately 7 patients per day.
- Collaborate within a team-based care model.
