Certified Generator Service Technician SIGN ON BONUS up to $2,500
About The Position
Hiller is seeking a Certified Generator Service Technician to join their team. This role involves installing and upgrading a wide variety of electrical components, including generators, rewires, additions, and panels. The technician will also provide electrical service and repair to customers' homes, apartments, and businesses. Responsibilities include coordinating with utility service providers and local code officials, adhering to OSHA safety standards and regulations, and maintaining a clean, stocked, and accurately inventoried service truck. A sign-on bonus of up to $2,500 is offered.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of service or construction experience preferred in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and correcting diverse electrical service issues.
- Must be highly detail-oriented due to the nature of the electrical field in ensure safety for fellow technicians, self, and property.
- Must be team oriented
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and fellow coworkers
- A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- A valid driver's license
- Willing to work hours outside of normal work schedule and on call schedule
Nice To Haves
- TN State/LLE Electrical License preferred.
- Generac certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Install and/or Upgrade a wide variety of electrical components ranging from generators, rewires, additions, services, panels, etc.
- Provide electrical service and/or repair to customers' homes, apartments, and businesses
- Coordinate with utility service providers (NES, MTEMC, CEMC, etc.) and local code officials to ensure proper guidelines are established.
- Responsible for adhering to all OSHA safety standards and regulations including the use of proper PPE at all times
- Keep truck clean, stocked and accurately inventoried
