Exceptional Student Education Teacher
About The Position
The Certified ESE Teacher provides specialized instruction and support for students with exceptional needs in a school-based setting in Miccosukee, Florida. The role involves implementing IEP goals, delivering individualized interventions, monitoring student progress, and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with Florida regulations. The teacher collaborates with general education teachers and support staff and fosters an inclusive, supportive learning environment. This is a full-time contract position with weekday hours, Monday through Friday. The assignment begins immediately and continues through the end of the Extended School Year (ESY). Compensation is $24.00–$28.00 per hour, based on experience, with bi-weekly payroll through an agency.
Requirements
- Florida Teaching Certification in Exceptional Student Education is required.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt instruction across grade levels.
