Exceptional Student Education Teacher
About The Position
The Certified ESE Teacher provides push-in support for students with exceptional needs across general education classrooms in Tallahassee, Florida. The teacher collaborates with classroom teachers to adapt instruction and ensure compliance with IEPs, delivers individualized interventions, and monitors student progress. The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation and communicating with families and staff while supporting inclusive practices and fostering a positive learning environment. This is a full-time contract position with Monday–Friday hours. The assignment starts immediately and continues through the end of the Extended School Year (ESY). Compensation is hourly and based on experience, with bi-weekly pay through agency payroll.
Requirements
- Florida Teaching Certification in Exceptional Student Education.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt instruction across grade levels.
