About The Position
Countryside Mental Health is seeking a Certified Dietary Manager to manage the dietary department and help ensure high-quality food service for patients. The role involves working with a diverse patient population and supporting patient health and well-being in a positive, supportive environment. The manager will lead dietary staff, providing training and guidance to support excellent patient care.
Requirements
- Certification as a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Registered Dietitian (RD) is preferred.
- Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a dietary management role.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily dietary department operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and employee supervision.
- Coordinate with healthcare staff to develop and implement patient-specific dietary plans.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, sanitary environment.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address patient needs and concerns.
- Train and guide dietary staff to support excellent patient care.
