About The Position
RD Nutrition Consultants is seeking a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) for a full-time opportunity (40 hours/week) supporting a skilled nursing facility in Pennsylvania. This is a great opportunity for a motivated professional looking for a consistent weekday schedule and a supportive environment.
Requirements
- Active Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification (required)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and survey readiness
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Nice To Haves
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily food service operations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with the Registered Dietitian to support nutrition programs and resident care
- Manage inventory, ordering, and departmental budgets
- Ensure menus are maintained and compliant with policies and regulations
- Supervise dietary staff, including scheduling and training
- Conduct routine kitchen and sanitation inspections
- Participate in facility committees (QA, Infection Control, etc.)
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting
