About The Position

Meadows Dental Care is seeking a Dental Assistant to help provide exceptional dental care and a positive patient experience in a welcoming, supportive environment. The position supports the dentist during procedures, helps maintain infection-control standards and accurate patient records, communicates with patients, and keeps the treatment area clean and organized. The schedule is Monday 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., Tuesday 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., Wednesday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Thursday 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., and Friday 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Clear and effective communication with patients and team members.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of dental assisting experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with Dentrix or other dental software systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside support during dental procedures, anticipate the dentist’s needs, and help ensure patient comfort.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment in accordance with infection-control protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment details, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist the dentist during polishing to support patient comfort and safety.
• Explain procedures to patients and effectively address their concerns.
• Keep the treatment area clean and organized, restocking supplies and equipment as needed.
