Requirements

Strong foundation in medical coding principles.
Comprehensive understanding of ICD-10, CPT, E&M and HCPCS coding systems.
Attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Must be located in the state of Montana.

Responsibilities

Review Preliminary and Held for Billing status visit notes in EMA.
Accurately code or correct ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes in compliance with payer guidelines and contracts.
Ensure prompt billing for both the facility and the surgeons' professional fees.
Perform routine audits.
Provide essential training to physicians and staff on ICD-10 coding compliance and documentation guidelines.
