About The Position

VOSH is hiring experienced, certified caregivers for full-time daytime assignments providing personalized in-home care to seniors in Scottsdale, Arizona, and surrounding communities. Caregivers support clients in their homes, build trusting relationships, and help clients maintain the best quality of life possible. Assignments may offer opportunities for regular, ongoing client relationships, and some client locations may offer higher hourly compensation. A $5 gas stipend per shift may be available when gas prices reach a specified weekly threshold. VOSH is an established home care organization that has served local families for more than 16 years.

Requirements

• Current applicable caregiver certification.
• At least 6 months of personal or professional caregiving experience.
• Current TB clearance.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Valid driver's license and current car insurance.
• Access to a reliable vehicle for traveling to client homes and transporting clients when needed.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English clearly.
• Willingness to travel 20 or more miles each way when needed.
• Dependable, compassionate, patient, and professional approach to client care.

Nice To Haves

• Availability for additional days, weekends, and occasional evening shifts.
• Willingness to work in different client locations and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized in-home care to senior clients.
• Build trusting relationships with clients and help them enjoy the best quality of life possible.
• Travel to client homes and transport clients when needed.
• Be available for daytime assignments and, when possible, additional days, weekends, and occasional evening shifts.
