About The Position
This position focuses on non-medical home care services. Home Health Aides do not perform skilled nursing procedures, administer medications, or provide treatments outside their scope of practice. Care is provided under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Requirements
- HHA certification preferred.
- CNA certification accepted where applicable.
- Friendly, dependable, and compassionate.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Able to provide personal care safely and respectfully.
- Meets state and agency employment requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
- Help clients with mobility, transfers, toileting, and meals.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Monitor and report changes in client condition.
- Maintain accurate visit documentation.
- Follow client care plans and safety protocols.
- Respect every client's privacy, dignity, and independence.
