About The Position
As a full-time Certified Athletic Trainer/Clinical Injury Prevention Specialist, you will provide care to client employees in the client's health center in Princeton, Indiana. The position offers three Monday-through-Friday shift options: 5:00 PM–1:45 AM, noon–9:30 PM, or 9:15 AM–6:00 PM. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is offered.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited professional Athletic Training education program.
- Current BOC Certified Athletic Trainer credential.
- Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC, or equivalent Basic Life Support for healthcare providers.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on the contract scope of services.
Nice To Haves
- Certification in a specialty area, such as Ergonomic Specialty.
- Experience in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Knowledge of current OSHA regulations.
- Experience in ergonomics.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an early intervention program, including comprehensive musculoskeletal examinations, first aid in accordance with OSHA standards, and injury-prevention education.
- Perform physical-demand and ergonomic assessments to identify high-risk tasks and recommend preventive strategies.
- Lead group and individual training on functional movement, job simulation, and injury-prevention programs.
- Collaborate with on-site medical and safety teams to coordinate care and recommend workplace countermeasures.
- Document assessments, recommendations, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient health records.
- Participate in meetings and task forces.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
